Mission matters and missions matter at Woodlawn. We contribute 24% of its total annual budget to a mix of missions that include local and global evangelism, local and global benevolence, and Christian education. Based on the 2011 budget, missions giving is expected to exceed $92,000. In addition to budgeted missions giving, a special missions offering is taken during our annual Globalfest missions emphasis week. The goal for 2011 is an additional $20,000 (see the GlobalFest 2011 box), bringing the expected missions giving for the year to $112,000.
